2804 with smoothing set at 20
1620 with it set to the max (300)
3175 with it set to min (1)

I just got done pouring over a topo map of the route, and the correct figure is 3650ft

Garmin 305 uses a barometric altimeter to track elevation changes, and according to the data I import into training center its very accurate, the display on the garmin I can see during a workout (for cumulative elevation change) is not so accurate.

Unless they've come up with a new training center....it sucks balls for everything....I just removed it from my PC. I rode up the west side of vail pass and TC came up with a number around 4K which isn't even in the ballpark.
