My question is- What other internal hubs out there can fit a 120 mm dropout width? I am looking for something more reliable than the SA 8S.
SRAM's P5 hub is 122mm OLD. Virtually everything else more than 5 speeds other than SA is 130mm to 135mm wide.

SA has new versions of their 8 speed now available with strengthened design internals and a wider overall gear range. These all have a "W" as part of the hub model number. There web site is not up to date but here is a link to the latest catalog which shows the new models.
