"I was responding to the issue of whether to go with or against traffic when there is no sidewalk. I'll have to look it up, but it was either a county or state code that says you have to go against traffic if a suitable sidewalk is not provided. That issue comes up quite often around the Rose Bowl, where the rule is often misinterpreted (despite signs being placed like every hundred feet)."
