Yes, a sidewalk without peds, driveways and intersections would be considered a cyclist's paradise, but locally for me that's not the case, in addition of having to contend with narrow sidewalks with telephone poles, being partially hidden by parked cars, and most of motorists' attention is on the roadway rather than the sidewalk, is why I'm don't ride there.
