Well it seems yelling out "DOOR!" to someone about to open their door without looking doesn't do anything because they still open their door.
I was just pointing out that if someone really opened a door in my path, my attention would be focused on stopping (I'd likely yell "HEY" as a natural reaction, as opposed to a conscious effort).
