Okay, I had a sort of funny thing happen to me today. Today's ride was to be a 50 miler that I had done 2 weeks ago. On that ride I had everything go wrong: Dead legs right off, couldn't unclip and fell over, ran out of water , got the crams and so on. Anyway, today I was better prepared, I had a place to fill my water,I had another Cliff Bar for fuel and my jersey even was fitting better due to my weight getting down. I have been pounding legs all week in the gym, and was a little concerned, they felt great too. So, I was pulling out from the park where I took a small potty break and hear some female voice yell at me. I THOUGHT I heard them say "Got a nice ass." I was sure the spandex bike shorts were doing something for young lady, so I looked back to see who it was. It turned out to be a gal at yard sale holding a back pack in her hand. It then dawned on me that she said " Got a nice back pack" that she thought that I needed to buy. I just busted up right there knowing that the gal had no idea what I was laughing about. Oh well, the delusions of grandeur were nice for those few seconds and it turned out to be great ride anyway.
