I hear this alot but alot of the P7s are not as floody as many people say. My P7 throws a tighter spot than my L2D (which is actually a floody light). I agree with this. When I think of having a spot light on the helmet it seems natural that it should be a tighter spot than the bar lights, right? My experience with an L2D on the helmet and P7s on the bars is that the L2D get lost in the P7s stronger spot.
EDIT (July 11, 2009): I discovered my L2D LED is damaged, so my Fenix opinions are not accurate.
