Actually my point wasn't so much a request for bike lanes... it was more to say "ok here are these expensive options..." and then at the end of the letter I come back and say "OR you can just clear the snow". Kind of putting things in perspective a bit.

After riding in areas with bike lanes for the first time recently, I LOVE them. It was refreshing not to hear the car fly up behind me, slow down, and then gun the engine and blow past me coming within about 2" of me.
