I've found that once spokes start to break, you pretty much have to rebuild the wheel. By the time you noticed the 2 broken spokes and the others that were bent, the rest of the spokes were already toast.

I would just have the wheel rebuilt. You can use stronger spokes if you like, but as long as it's rebuilt properly I doubt you'll have any issues.
