Many years ago, a buddy and myself used to carpfish. We would throw all the fish into garbage bags, then we would chuck them into an old chest freezer. By the time black bear season rolled around we had (what we thought), would be a great bear feed. By the time we pulled them from the freezer, drove up north 400-500 miles, made it out to the site, they would still be a little frozen. Ready for the next days hunt.
Tried that two years running. Luck wasn't so good. We switched to a oats/molasses feed from a feed store, and our luck began to change. Later, we added day old donuts (had to go dumpster diving for those) Not exactly sure they were day old, but they were too old to sell, so the doughnut shop bagged the up and dumped them in the dumpster.
I don't have to many pics of those hunts, and the ones I do have are dark, and never have been scanned. However I do have a nice upper body mount hanging in the garage.
