My father and I headed into the mountains and did a 87.4 km ride today.
I wanted to do another ride in the Rocky Mountains before I leave ... so this was it, or maybe one of a few last rides.
The weather sites were predicting a fairly high possibility of rain, and it was overcast when we started, but it cleared up a bit by the end and actually turned out to be quite a nice day.
It was beautifully quiet out there ... hardly any traffic and hardly any people.
There were times all I could hear was the noise my bicycle was making as I rode ... so peaceful!
