And what exactly distinguishes hype from reality? Has Cervelo"s bikes failed in any objective, measurable way? Are they generally less stiff or comfortable than the competition? Are they less aero? Are the heavy?

I guess the S2 is a little heavy, but so is the Ridley Noah/BMC SLX01/Colnago EPS etc...
