hey noglider i'd be interested in what more you might find out about options biking out of newark, specifically from either broad st station or penn station to points north; my brother lives up in rutherford and the train connections to secaucus and then again to rutherford are a real drag - it shouldn't take an hour and a half (once you add up all the waiting around) to go that last 10 miles or so! i know i could bike it in less, and be less annoyed... just don't know what safe bike routes there are leaving newark.
