Had it about a year but as yet unused. Hopefully yours will be more efficient as rotating this wheel by hand feels like turning a big stepper motor, lots of "cogging".

I read recently that the German Son hub feels no different connected or not, so must be far more efficient than this Dahon one. I'm thinking of trying it out in a garden small wind turbine project
