I think i do 1:1 for chain, 1:10 for the rest of the bike. Even with 1:10, i have to rinse with water to get rid of the residue. IF you use it on your chain, make sure you rinse it off really, really, really, really well. Putting grease on top of a degreaser can't work too well.
