How much would this have cost at your LBS?

Once again, I think my bike store is overcharging. Almost two weeks ago, I broke my rear derailleur. I considered replacing it myself, but decided to try the bike store, since I'd had bad luck adjusting derailleurs in the past. I finally got my bike back yesterday, and here was the bill:

$20 for the derailleur
$30 for the installation
$20 for a new chain
$10 for its installation

Note that I did not request a new chain. In fact, the only service I requested was a new derailleur. Altogether, it cost me $80 (before taxes) and over a week's wait. There are also a couple of new hires at the store, and the service seems impersonal (I don't know these guys, and they don't care to know me). Overall, the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. And yes, this is the same LBS that charged me $35 a few weeks ago for cutting the steering column to lower my handlebars.

Would you continue patroning a bike shop like this, or am I too price-conscious? And how much would this have cost you at your LBS, had you gone there for a new derailleur and installation?
