funny, the shimano alfine dynohub i just got feels really smooth even when i turn it by hand.
i have paired it with a Schmidt Edelux headlamp and a B&M Toplight Flat Plus in the rear. I am very very happy with this settup, all wires and connectors came with the lights, and the Edelux is really amazing allowing me to ride at full speed at night.
