So this morning as I'm almost to work I see this guy on a bike pull out into the bike lane about 1/2 a mile in front of me. He's a little bit all over the place in the lane and doesn't have lights, but all in all he's doing fine and moving at a respectable pace (~15 mph). I eventually catch up to him; he hears me when I'm maybe a bike length behind him and looks over his shoulder. I say "hi" and he gets this HUGE smile on his face. As I continue to pass him he shouts, "We're doing it!! We're doing it aren't we!!!" I just laughed and said, "yep, we sure are."

I don't know...not much of a story, but I thought it was fun to see someone so happy about bike commuting so I thought I'd share.
