I didn't read the thread, but DON"T DRILL!

Take your front wheel off, stick the recessed nut inside the fork crown. and then tighten with a hex wrench from the back hole. It works. I learned it by watching Sheldon. Give me a sec and I will find the link.

Ok so it won't work on the brake bridge.
