They were the only pair I had that weren't currently in use. A friend was in dire need of brakes on his commuter so I passed them on. Considering I'm injured and not riding I felt bad just having them sit pretty on the bike.

Was Peugeot still using Racers when that bike was built? They switched to Competitions on the PX10 in the early 70's. There are a few Racers on eBay this morning, including a NOS set. There is also a set of late Competitions in gold with tire guides.
I think the Mafac brake at the time was the LS2 sidepull... Haven't seen any of those at all. I have never tried centerpulls so this is a good chane to learn. Also a bike swap is coming up this weekend. Might be able to score some. I'm def keeping an eye on those comps though.

I only have one problem, shifters.
