You can buy tires with reflective sidewalls. Performance Bike has some of their Forte brand that come with it, otherwise you will have to go with Schwalbe and they are pricey.
I ride at all hours of the day or night. For night riding I use my on board generator lights which range from excellent LED to glow worm incandescent on my old Raleigh (I also use an inexpensive LED as a backup) I run one PB Superflash on flash in addition to a solid on taillight. I wear a reflective vest/jacket, ones like you see the highway guys wear. In
NC you are required by law to have a head light and a red rear reflector or light visible for 200ft.
And after reading the brochure I think I am going to get some copies to hand out to uninformed LEO's
That is a newer version than the one I have been using. Also take issue with some of their "opinions".
