It does look like you've got a lot of setback on the seat, which could have something to do with it. (Note, I'm not suggesting you adjust your reach to the bars by changing the amount of setback, and it maybe an appropriate for you, but it just looks more than typical in the pics.)

As for weight, carbon bars, and stem are often as heavy as aluminum, at most you'd likely save 100 grams there, and a true weight weenie seat might be another 100grams. So you could spend a lot of coin and get from 16.9 lbs to 16.6lbs, and have an as* hatchet seat in the process. Personally, I'd find a seat that was comfortable ot me and not worry about the weight.
Thanks for your comments. I didn't touch the set back on the seat, however, as someone suggested previously i leveled it. The pressure points on my feet are almost completely gone. I'm only noticing them at the end of the longer (40-50 mile) rides. Pressure on the hands has diminished also, i tend to ride with my hands on the bars more than on the shifters, the shape of the Ergonovas on the top makes the grip very comfortable and looks like the lack of flexibility in my back also favors that position.

I'm going 150 mile step by step (every change i make i test for 150 miles), but enjoying every single riding mile ;-).

As for the weight, it was never a concern, i just happened to post the weight out of the comments from the builder at the LBS. The way i see it today, every dime spent from this point on will be for comfort/fit improvements only. If i want to shed some weight i'll just have to pedal longer/faster ;-).

Thanks again .
