FYI, Marinoni is still very much making bikes... I own a new Piuma from 2008/9 I don't know if they still do lugged custom, although an inquiry on a replacement threaded fork seemed to indicate so, but they do some fine contemporary steel and TI work. In fact, their steel framesets are *very* reasonably priced when you compare them with boutique fabricators. IIRC, $800-$900 CA for a Columbus Spirit frameset.
