I haven't used the Chorus alloy clips, but my experience with Super Record alloy clips is that they are considerably more durable than other alloy clips I've used. But aluminum is aluminum, and it will never be as durable as steel.

The Chorus pedals pictured look very much the same as the Victory pedals, which did come with steel clips. The same steel clips were also used on Triomphe pedals, which may help broaden your sourcing.
