New Bike Purchase, no more "on-sale" bikes - please help!
Ok so I'm a mid-level rider, done about 2 races and have upgraded my current ride (Bianchi C2C Via Nirone) which at the time was a "on-sale" bike. Now with some experience under my belt and some reading up on geometry, I'm in the market for a better ride, not the best but good enough to race and train on.
So I've been considering a few options -
Look 566 w/SRAM Rival
Argon 18 Radon w/ultegra
or completely out of budget
Pinarello FP3 w/DA Ult mix
I think mainly I want to stay somewhere in a 525-540 effective TT and a 74.5 (at max) seat angle. I'm pretty short, 5'5" with 30 inseam (jeans size?) with fairly wide shoulders. Budget wise, I'd like to stay in the low 2k's and also have a bit of brand preference (non-standards are out like specialized, trek, cdale). Is there something else out there that can fit the low 2k budget with that geo that I might be missing. I've priced the 566 w/SRAM Rival @ around 2.7k, the Argon 18 build will probably be in the same area maybe a bit closer to the FP3 which I priced around 3.2k.
The 566 also came with fulcrum wheelset in a paint scheme that I do thoroughly enjoy and there are some take off parts from my current ride that I'd slap on there.
Next question --
If my effective TT is 525-540, pulling my stem back to say a 80-90mm would that help with a steep seat tube of 74.5? The 566 looks most comparable at a 525 TT w/ 74.5 angle.
I also haven't ruled out any tri-bikes, but fear I'm not ready to commit to a tri-bike just yet be it that I'd probably want a higher-end one post entry level tri bike purchase. I've eyed a Felt AR4 or AR2 for some time but they are way way out of budget.
Appreciate all insight.
