I didn't feel like bike commuting today after two rough days with sore legs and stiff headwinds. However, the forecast was for beautiful weather so I dutifully pedaled on my way. Ended up having a great ride to work with a strong tailwind for a change. Still caught nearly every red light on my route, a curse that has afflicted me lately. Had one scary incident. At the one green light I caught, which is at the bottom of a hill, a woman driving a Dodge minivan totally blew the red light -- I mean like 20 seconds after the light had turned red on her side -- and almost t-boned a school bus. If I had been 5-10 seconds faster, she might have crushed me. Now that was scary because it obviously wasn't a case of someone simply trying to beat a yellow light. She totally missed the red light even though all the other cars were stopped and a school bus was pulling into the intersection. Some people are just idiots.
