The absolute best wheels I ever built were done to 1/1000 th and to date have stayed true and have not needed to see a spoke wrench... they live on a full suspension mtb that gets ridden by my 240 pound friend... on the trails.
My stand works as a great dishing tool too... I have a proper dish gauge too.
When I built up that first wheel of the day (that Rhyno Lite) the thing was nearly perfectly dished throughout the spoke tensioning and de-stressing.
You can only get amazing results when you start with really great parts... my friend's wheels would run a person well over $700.00 for the parts and the build... which I did for free.
