chipcom is dead on. Better a 10 year old bike that fits than a shiny one that doesn't. In my personal experience, the whole road bike transition, with more speed, different posture, etc. creates enough anxiety. Don't want to compound it with bad fit. I shopped extensively until I found a very small (43cm) used Fuji frame on eBay. But that was after visits to a LBS with lots of models to try out.
