Have You Had A Bike Stolen While Using A High End Lock? Please Give Info

With all the talk about locks and locking strategy, and all the misinformation surrounding it, I thought I' start this poll to see just how common it is for high end locks to be compromised on the streets.

Have you had a bike stolen in the last two years while using a high end lock which was compromised? What lock was it, and do you know if the lock was Art Foundation Four Star or Sold Secure Gold rated?

If your bicycle was stolen and you were using such a lock please provide details of the theft, such as what the bike was locked to and how you think the lock was defeated (bolt cutters, angle grinder, etc).

Here are the Sold Secure and ART Foundation Websites:

EDIT: I'm going to call BS on the clams of 58545256 losing bikes locked with both a Kryptonite NY/Fahgettaboudit Chain and U-lock after reading the below post of his. If he hasn't owned a bike in ten years there is no way his voting could be true.......

This is my first post here after some considerable reading in the Commute Section as well as here.

I'll start out by saying that I haven't truly owned a Bicycle in about a decade, (when I was nine!) and a little background. I have borrowed a few from some people for a week or so, but I haven't owned one. Since then I have gained some weight and I have concerns about just buying any old bicycle

Well so far from this poll we've learned that lower-end U-locks from reputable companies are not secure enough for high crime areas, and that even a top of the line lock is useless if what you lock it to is cut or dismantled. Thanks for all who have honestly voted and shared info so far.

I sent a PM to all the people who voted as having a bike stolen and didn't post any details. None have responded, and without any further info we have no idea if they are simply making things up, improperly locked their bike, the object they locked to was cut, or indeed their high-end lock was defeated. I seriously doubt the latter.

Still no credible reports of high-end locks being defeated in the wild.
