I'm currently waffling between the Nexus 7 and a Nexus 8 "redline" premium hub. The 7s aren't as efficient as the 8s and don't have as many gears, but the 8s cost more money and Shimano seems to be updating the design about every twenty minutes.

At least it's nice to see that Shimano has finally worked their drum brakes - I'm told the latest iteration is very effective and requires nearly no maintenance.
