Smoked for 20 years. Tried to quit cold turkey and almost decided to drive my truck into a freeway abutment. Got some Skoal and put in a pinch for a couple months, then it was a lot easier to stop that.
That was in 1987, now I am allergic to tobacco smoke and it gives me headaches, makes my eyes and nose swell shut, and causes fluid in my lungs.
