My bikes range from 21.5 pounds to as much as 45 pounds with my road bike (vintage) and fixed gear road bike being being the lightest (they weigh about the same) and my longbike being the heaviest... but it is a bike and a half.

For a commuter / tour oriented bike a weight in the mid twenties is more than acceptable as you have a heavier frame and more solid components and most of the bikes I have in this class are 25-32 pounds with fenders, racks, and lights.

My hardtail mtb weighs 24 pounds with discs and is going top get a good deal lighter when I switch back to my uber light non disc wheels.
