Bikes: Specialized Sirrus Sport, Specialized Stumpjumper Comp, Brompton, Trek 1500

If I want to change the cassette from Shimano to Sram, do I have to change the freewheel etc. of will the sram cassette just fit on the wheel over the old simano freewheel without any problems
