Invitation to School a Newbie

Hello all,

I'm looking for some help with my first fixed gear build. I've searched around the forums and Sheldon Brown's but I'm looking for some more specific help with the frame I picked. I was planning to get new cranks, BB, rear fixed hub and wheel. For the rest, I have another old bike that I can get some parts from. The thing that's most important to me is having the whole thing feel stiff and solid when I ride. I included pictures of the frame, I want to know if this is even worth it or if I'm barking of the wrong tree? It's a Canadian made Peugeot, serial number is 38803. One thing that confused me after I bought it is the bottom bracket, dude I bought it from said I'd need a 122 size, and I know Peugeot can have french bottom bracket setup which may not even be good for a fixed gear? Also a suggestion as to a solid rear wheel combo that could stand up to skids, but isn't fancy as I'm trying to do this on a courier budget.

I'd appreciate any help to get started!
