Thing is I'd hate to have to lug that chain on every ride... And some of my "more interesting" "confrontations" have occurred in what I would normally consider very benign times... such as quiet Sunday mornings when there is no other traffic around... (I have yet to figure those out... why a motorist would even go out of their way to bother with a lone cyclist on an otherwise empty quiet road)

Perhaps for commutes though...
