I have been 'just looking' for a nicer road bike the past several months. A few have come and gone, but just didn't work out for one reason or another.

I popped into my LBS on Saturday morning just to BS with one of the guys in there and sitting on the floor was a bike they had sold a couple of years ago to a guy who rode it a couple of times and then stashed it in the garage. It had so little riding time there were still visible seams on the tires. It was an $1800 ish bike new, and he wanted a little more for a two year old bike than would normally be warranted, but you really couldn't tell it was used at all, no scratches, nothing. I took it for a little ten mile jaunt, and then ended up buying it.

I don't have the traditional 'against the garage door' picture, but here is one of it up against a memorial wall at one of our parks earlier today. I didn't have time to take a garage door picture as I was too busy riding it. I have about 80 miles on it so far, and I think I have ridden it more this weekend than it has been ridden the rest of its life
