You need a crank puller/remover.

You can go over to the bicycle mechanics sub-forum and get lots of advice there if you want. There you will also find a 'sticky' directing you to Sheldon Brown's awesome website where you can learn how to do all kinds of work on your bike. Also, go to Park Tool's website, and Bicycle Tutor for lots of how-to's.
