I have searched it high and low for 1. Not a chance. That blew me away. I didn't think bikes were made without one. I even had 2 buddies look incase I missed it. I keep going back to it and looking thinking it may appear. The back de-railer started production in 1966. It can't be a late 1970's bike. I bought it used in 1979 and he said then it was around 15 years old then. It came with a full set of Campy tools as well. The front derailleur is original. I have yet to find a pic of one online with that detail on the frame joints or the paint on the front pedal sprocket.
Thanks for the interest and comment. It's my baby. I paid $1,200 for it back in 1979. There was no way I was letting it get dirty for that price back then. It is a joy to ride. It's smooth, quite and fast.
