Hehehe I'd love to see an officer get assigned to "unmarked police bicycle" duty. Is there any officer on bike duty that would willingly ride a 40 hour week without that uniform on? Doubt it.
I knew an undercover cop a few years back that rode his bike most of the time. Nice guy and fully understanding of cyclists plight. He would regale me with stories of pulling over loutish drivers and sticking it to em. He was equally harsh on reckless cyclists but knew the difference between reckless and defensive.
