takes me 30 mins to drive to any decent trails. I'm not going to drive for an hour to only fart around for an hour - i don't have that kind of money for the gas

I'm starting to do saturday morning/afternoon rides with a group of friends. Two of us have cars, and can carry up to 5 bikes... so its me and the other guy who can drive, and three buddies. Whoever calls first gets in on the ride

If I'm on the road bike, I'll do a daily 1 hour ride.
I am one of those lucky sobs that lives minutes away from bunch of great trails plus my job allows me to have a very fexible schedule so I get to ride everyday
