I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I totally missed something. I mean I get the cop called you a pedestrian, and I think you were on your bike, and maybe you went back and harassed him after the initial correction... I don't know...
I do know that I don't like comparing cars and bikes. I think they're too dissimilar to try to apply the same laws to. Why can't bikes be considered unique entities? Cars should yield to bikes, bikes should yield to "peds", all should observe right-away and that's about it. I don't know how I feel about stop lights or stop signs, I just don't obey them but I yield to on comming traffic and practice "defensive" riding. I have no intention of changing my habits, so please don't tell me how much of an idiot you think I am. If you want to stop at every empty intersection you come to, go right ahead, just keep to the right so I can go around you, and if I get hit by a car, call the cops and lie for me. Very small concessions all in all.
