Personally, I love it. My first new bike was a 26" tire Rollfast single speed. It was for my 8th/9th ?? birthday, around 1966 or so. It was way too big for me, requiring starting and stopping at the curb.

When I gained knowlege a few years later, I bought a wreck of a Royce Union and stripped off the handbrakes and the Shimano 333 components, and converted my bike to a 3 speed much like yours.

I think you got a great bike, but hey, I'm rather biased!
