A bit of catch and release, what I think is a '70's Raleigh Sprite 5-speed. I was checking out some guys discard bikes on the curb when he comes out and offers me this Raleigh, but in a couple of pieces, for free! It's now outfitted with a Wald front basket and 20t SS freewheel. The original drivetrain was a nightmare so it had to go. It's now being piloted around Vancouver by a friend of mine, released back into it's natural habitat to roam free once again.
Does anyone know where that scan is that has the Raleigh serial numbers decoded on it? I've searched, but come up dry. It's serial is ND 5220155
