I didn't really like it, because if I took a spill, he was exposed as well as falling from a pretty high height (esp for a toddler.) Also, you can't really stand up and pedal to do things like get up hills, because it throws them back and forth. I got a trailer, and feel much safer pulling him around on it. I've probably done 750ish miles with him in it, overturned it (twice!) and not even a scratch on him. It is a huge hassle getting it from and to my 2nd story aptmnt, though. It's also significantly more work pulling him in the trailer than having a seat on the bike.
which kind of trailer did you get? I've looked around even from performancebike the price is $250.. ouch!
