well again, i personally dont like repaints, i have a decent collection of vintage bikes and all of them are original-no repaints. i guess it sounds snobby but i like to keep my collection all original. your right though, it is a great bike to ride and looks good as well. if i dont sell it for my asking price i guess ill keep it as a rider and enjoy it for that.
Hope I didn't sound like I was attacking, but I was wondering if your original intent was to keep, or to flip. Lots of us here make our "oopses" on $20, $50 and $125 bikes, and it just seems a bit incongruous that someone dabbling with upper echelon bikes hasn't worked all the way through the learning curve.
