Need Help with Purchase

I would like to get into cycling a bit but as a newbie and I need some help with a bike that I found on Craigslist.

The bike is a Giant OCR 3 - seller thinks it is a 2007 bike and the color is black/blue (don't know if this helps).

My question is how do I know it is the right size for me? The seller says he is 5' 9" to 5' 10" and I am about 5' 8 1/2".

I had done a online measurement from - http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za...LCULATOR_INTRO - which gave me the following:

Competitive Fit

Seat tube range c-c 55.1 - 55.6
Seat tube range c-t 56.8 - 57.3
Top tube length 52.2 - 52.6
Stem Length 10.2 - 10.8
BB-Saddle Position 78.1 - 80.1
Saddle-Handlebar 49.5 - 50.1
Saddle Setback 4.8 - 5.2

Eddy Fit

56.3 - 56.8
58.0 - 58.5
52.2 - 52.6
9.1 - 9.7
77.3 - 79.3
50.3 - 50.9
6.0 - 6.4

French Fit

58.0 - 58.5
59.7 - 60.2
53.4 - 53.8
9.3 - 9.9
75.6 - 77.6
52.0 - 52.6
5.5 - 5.9

Seeing how I am a bit knew I don't quite know how to interpret all of this as well as some of you experienced riders and don't want to get the wrong fit.

Most of the bike shops around here don't want to fit me unless I buy from them and if I don't but from them they charge quite a bit!

I would really appreciate it if I could get some help on this subject as soon as possible!
