For what it is worth, I have never had a puncture with Conti top touring 2000s. I have had flats, like when the stem separated from the tube, or when I put in a patched tube (don't do that). The downside of these fantastic tires? 35 bucks a pop, and are a huge chore to get them on. But I have only had to deal with them when I change out the actual tire.
