I think I will head over to the Ruby Ride. Of course, I waited until this am to finally decide where I was going, and Active.com registration is closed. I just emailed the race organizer, but the email says that person is out until Monday, so I can't get confirmation that I can register in person Saturday morning. Does anyone happen to know if that is possible for certain, or someone else I could contact? Thanks for all the recommendations.
