no bike mount comes with the Forerunner. i have both. there are compelling reasons to buy the sport specific model for said sport, that is why they make two different models.
edge = bigger screen able to display more fields, longer batter life, CAD included.
forerunner = smaller screen, shorter batter life, no CAD, big for wearing on the wrist.
