Wow, a lot of work is in store IF I decide to go this route. IF I keep the bike, I will fix the problems that need to be addressed currently and then decide what to do. After hearing how painstaking it is, I think I will hold off and try and find a Trek with Shimano 105 group or something. Thanks again for all the help guys. I think the friction will be money when I get everything straightened out.
